Above Bar Precinct and Bargate
It's nearly here!
From Saturday 29th May to Monday 31st May; the City Centre will become a festival of music and song alongside a fairground and special Above Bar Precinct Market.
Everyday from 11am featuring local acts and headline musicians will perform on the Bargate stage. On Saturday, the headline band will be King Pie. On Sunday, Rufus Stone; and on Monday, The Silver Beatles. Also watch out for Aaron Soul kicking things off on Monday at 11am amongst others.
Fairground fun for all the family will be on Bargate Square and our famous weekend Market will move onto Above Bar, leaving the Bargate Monument free to host this year's 'Dancing in the Streets' music extravaganza.
PlayRadio will be broadcasting direct from Bargate throughout the weekend, with City Centre Manager Ian Welland joining presenters from Friday and through the weekend.
