Road Closures in High Street area of City Centre

Repaving works from 4 May for 4 months

Bernard Street from the junction with High Street (Holy Rood Church) to Market Place & Brunswick Square is closed to traffic both ways for repaving works. Diversions via Queensway and Briton Street.

St Michael's Street from its junction with French Street and Castle Way is temporarily closed and has no access onto High Street due to repaving works.

High Street has a contraflow in place north and south at the junction of Holy Rood Church.

Expect some delays over the next 4 weeks and further staggered closures.

Due to the road works, some bus stops will be temporarily re-sited in the High Street / Holy Rood Church area.
