Southampton Philharmonic Choir - Grieg's Peer Gynt, at Southampton Guildhall

Featuring Southampton Philharmonic Choir Southampton University Phil Hampshire County Children's Choir New London Sinfonia David Gibson (conductor) This concert, continuing Southampton Philharmonic Choir's 150th Anniversary Year celebrations, is also David Gibson’s 20th Anniversary as the choir's Musical Director. The choir is commissioning an English libretto to Grieg’s complete incidental music for Peer Gynt, which includes the well-loved tunes from the orchestral suites.
